Submerging by LARA

Submerging is one in a series of works titled "Submerging, Indulging, and Emerging." It focuses on the process of moving on from adversity and entering the healing process. All three pieces are oriented around water. Water can be very healing. But you can also drown in it.

I am a 23 years old Haitian surreal abstract mix media artist. I have a background in fashion illustration and design. My art is a mix of my love for painting, fashion, and my background as a black immigrant woman. I hope to evoke emotions out of people with my pieces. Most of my art are textured. By using paste and fabrics.
