This body of work explores softness, survival, and spiritual awakening. Through layered color and intuitive gesture, I create portals for healing, reflection, and transformation, centering Black queer and femme bodies as sites of devotion, resilience, and becoming.

Inspired by Black femmes, queer identity, ancestral memory, and spiritual transformation, my paintings explore vulnerability, protection, pleasure, and resistance. I am drawn to the spaces where tenderness meets power, where softness becomes a radical act, and where self-expression is liberation. Color is my language: bold, electric, and unapologetic. Each hue holds feeling, intention, and memory, creating portraits that pulse with movement, spirit, and presence.
My figures often exist in moments of reflection, release, and awakening. Through them, I ask questions about visibility, safety, intimacy, and self-worth—especially for Black queer and femme bodies that are so often marginalized, misunderstood, or erased. My work is both personal and communal, rooted in storytelling, ritual, and emotional honesty.
Ultimately, my paintings are acts of devotion—to self, to community, and to survival. They are portals for healing, affirmation, and connection, offering viewers space to see themselves, to feel held, and to imagine freer ways of being.
