This work involves a super fun and unpredictable process called hydro-dipping (spray painting on water then dipping canvas into the mix). Hydro-dipping is a fun way to create immediately interesting and one-of-a-kind backgrounds.

Trish Klenow is an established award winning artist & art educator with over 25 years of experience showing and teaching art. Klenow is a visual storyteller who uses oil paint to create a world of magical realism filled with figures, flora, and fauna.

Klenow majored in art with a concentration in painting and received her bachelors from Central Michigan University. She furthered her studies at Skidmore College in NY, the Art Institute of Chicago (Teacher Institute of Contemporary Art program), & then went on to earn a masters in art education at the University of Houston, TX in 2008.

Trish Klenow has been painting in oils since she was a child. Klenow regularly shows her work around the U.S., she has had nine solo shows, and has been included in over 100 juried shows in her career. She has also received over a dozen awards in art & art education. She has had articles published multiple times in School Arts magazine.
