FU002 The Cloud Dweller (Spectacle Bear Twilight by Myles Brown aka JACI

This was my first painting that I ever painted in front of a live audience. I was invited to showcase my art and live paint for the first time by Whiskey Kitchen, a local restaurant in Downtown Raleigh. One of my favorite parts about live painting for the first time was how I was able to interact with the crowd watching me paint. What I painted at the restaurant was an 11 x 14 painting of a Spectacle Bear. This painting fits with the theme of the show because of how I messed up the bear's mouth and nose. I added to too much black, blue, and dark yellow to the bear's mouth which was supposed to be painted with lighter colors, including pink and light tan. The nose was also supposed to be painted light red, but I added too much black onto the nose, making it look a much darker color than intended.

My name is Myles Brown, and I am an artist from North Carolina. My art is influenced by eastern mythology and vintage animation. I am the CEO of JUST A CRAZY ILLUSTRATOR LLC. I have art in stores including Munjo Munjo, and NC Crafts Gallery. have also painted murals, including one I did for North Carolina restaurant Yagg Sii Tenn. It has been sold at The PEEL and Diamanté Arts Cultural Center. I graduated from Wake Technical Community College with a degree in Business Administration: Marketing and a certificate in Advertising and Graphic Design: Graphic Design.
