For me, part of what makes Dolly Parton and the Dollyweird show so enchanting is the combination of folksiness, femininity, and funk. Things, ideas, and people come together in creative chaos and start to pluck sense and beauty out of it all. There's depth, there's whimsy, there's a meeting of so many ways of being. This piece echoes all of those aesthetic sentiments!
