In her book "Storyteller", Dolly wears a gauzy jewel-green gown and soft eyes next to the lyrics of "Where Beauty Lives in Memory" (1977). Her solemn expression in this spread stands out against the glamor and romance found in the rest of the pages. I hope to reimagine this moment of eerie sadness, placing her in a groovy space with Art Nouveau Revival inspired elements of the time. Her gown reflects the popular silhouettes in Mucha's posters while vibrating in a pink and earthy color palette, bringing new energy and life to a solemn song.
